#TeamCISD Families and Community,
After further deliberation and reconsideration, and based on the possible travel conditions on some of our outlying County roads, as well as the uncertainty of the amount of rain we will receive this evening and tonight, along with the uncertainty of how low the temperature will go, Clifton ISD will delay the start of school on Friday, February 3, 2023 until 10:00 a.m. I apologize for any inconveniences this change has caused; however, with the unknown weather and temperature and for the safety of our buses, students, staff and families that will be driving, I believe this is the best option. Questions, comments or concerns? Please contact me on my cell phone, 254-707-1503, office phone, 254-675-1825 or by email, andy.ball@cliftonisd.org. AB

#TeamCISD Families and Community,
I have received information that the current hazardous conditions on some of our roads may not improve until mid-morning on Thursday, which would be dangerous for our buses, students, staff and families to travel on. Due to that information, as well as the ice storm warning currently in effect, Clifton ISD will be closed on Thursday, February 2, 2023. School will resume at normal time on Friday, February, February 3rd. Questions, comments or concerns? Please contact me on my cell phone, 254-707-1503, office phone, 254-675-1825 or by email, andy.ball@cliftonisd.org. AB

With early release today at 1:30 p.m., buses will run at that time to take students home.
After looking at weather and radar reports and talking to Bosque County officials, including the Bosque County Office of Emergency Management, there is a strong probability of winter weather and icy roads and conditions this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow; therefore, Clifton ISD will release students early today at 1:30 p.m.
Also, School will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 31, 2023. A decision on Wednesday will be made tomorrow.
If you have any questions, please contact me on my office phone, 254-675-1825, cell phone, 254-707-1503 or by email, andy.ball@cliftonisd.org. AB
