Week of August 22nd at CMS

The first week at CMS was a huge success!  We would like to thank all of the parents, students, and staff who made this a great week.  Below is a glance at the week and please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

Monday, August 22nd 

  • MS Football- FH opens starting at 7:15am  Practice starts at 7:40 am 1st period.  Practice after School 3:50 pm to 5:30 pm

  • MS Volleyball - Practice

Tuesday, August 23rd 

  • MS Football- FH opens starting at 7:15am  Practice starts at 7:40 am 1st  period.  Practice after School 3:50 pm to 5:30 pm

  • MS Volleyball - Practice  

  • Sixth Grade Camp - Travel to Riverbend

Wednesday, August 24th 

  • MS Football - FH opens starting at 7:15am  Practice starts at 7:40 am 1st period.  Practice after School 3:50 pm to 5:30 pm

  • MS Volleyball - Practice

  • Sixth Grade Camp - Travel to Baylor Ropes Course

Thursday, August 25th

  • MS Football- FH opens starting at 7:15am  Practice starts at 7:40 am 1st  period.  No after school practice.

  • MS Volleyball - Game @ Keene

  • Picture Day at CMS - Students are not allowed to wear hats.

Friday, August 26th

  • High Five Friday- give and receive air high fives all day

  • MS Football & Volleyball - practice during the athletic period only

THINGS TO KNOW

Drop-off/pick-up

Please use the horseshoe

(entry by the Performing Arts Center (PAC))

Attending Events

Park in the lot by the student drop off-horseshoe

Backpacks

Backpacks are not allowed in the classrooms. These must be kept in lockers.

Phones

Phones may only be used before school/lunch/after school. Use during the instructional day will result in Saturday School.

Lunch

Students may choose anywhere they would like to sit in their assigned area, but may not change seats unless approved.

Dress Code

Please make sure your student is in dresscode when they arrive at school.  Dress code requirements are posted on the CMS website.  

Ending the Day

School releases at 3:35 pm each day

Attendance & Tardies

Please help us with attendance by bringing students to school and keeping them in class as much as possible.  Tardies will start soon so help us encourage your student to get to class on time. 

Meals

Breakfast is provided to all students but lunches will need to be purchased.
