The 2025-2026 Clifton ISD Academic Calendar was approved by the Board of Trustees during their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, February 24, 2025. The calendar has a start date of Tuesday, August 12, 2025 and an end date of Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The .pdf versions for both the six-weeks calendar for CMS and CHS and the nine-weeks calendar for CES can be accessed here. The calendar format has been updated to show notes by the month, too.
The calendar includes essential dates, such as the school's first and last days, holidays, teacher professional development (in-service/work days), and ensures that Clifton ISD is continually serving students in excess of the state required 75,600 instructional minutes. In 2024, the Board of Trustees adopted to move teacher contract term length to 180 days, so this school year calendar also reflects that same contract term. Teachers will begin on Monday, August 4th and end on Thursday, May 21st.
