Clifton Independent School District

The 2024 - 2025 Clifton ISD Academic Calendar was approved by the Board of Trustees during their meeting on Monday, March 18, 2024. The calendar has a start date of Tuesday, August 13, 2024 and an end date of Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The .pdf versions can be accessed here.

The calendar includes essential dates, such as the school's first and last days, holidays, teacher professional development (in-service) days, and ensures that Clifton ISD is continually serving our students in excess of the state required 75,600 minutes. Calendar Features:

• 171 Student Instructional Days

• 180 Teacher Contract Days

• Tuesday start dates for both the Fall (8/13) and Spring Semester (1/7)

  • Fall Semester: August 13, 2024 - December 20, 2024

  • Spring Semester: January 7, 2025 - May 21, 2025

• Four early release days aligning with extended breaks (11/22, 12/20, 3/7, & 5/21)

• Student & Staff Holiday Monday, September 2nd

• 4-day Fall Break October 18th - 21st

• Student & Staff Holiday Friday, November 8th

• Thanksgiving break during the fourth full week of November (25th - 29th)

• Staff In-service on Wednesday, December 11th

• Christmas break will be a full two weeks December 23rd - January 3rd

• Student & Staff Holiday Monday, January 20th

• 4-day Winter Break February 14th -17th

• Spring break during the second full week of March (March 10th -14th) which aligns with time change

• Two Bad Weather Days April 18th and 21st creating a 4-day post-spring break

• Please note that Fridays in May are marked as potential calendar adjustments. At this time we are planning regularly scheduled school days, but he Board of Trustees may adjust the calendar for those dates (similar to the 22/23 and 23/24 school years).
