Federal Report Card
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires each State education agency to prepare and publish an annual report card with state-, local education agency (LEA)- and campus-level data.
The Federal Report Card data for 2023-24 are now available. Information included in the 2023-2024 Federal Report card includes: the description of the Texas State Accountability System, Student Achievement by Proficiency Level, Academic Growth, Graduation Rate, English Language Proficiency, School Quality or Student Success, Goal Meeting Status, STAAR Participation, Civil Rights Data, Teacher Quality Data, Per-pupil Expenditure (will be updated 6/2025), STAAR Alternate 2 Participation, Statewide National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), Cohort Rates of Graduates enrolled in postsecondary education, and Additional Information (Chronic Absenteeism). For some districts and campuses, small data cells are masked in order to protect student confidentiality. When this is the case, the reports may display an asterisk (*) or a percentage preceded by a less than or greater than symbol (<1%).
The full explanation of each of these times can be found in English or Spanish. Information explaining how to access these will be shared through each campus' Talking Points during the Spring 2025 semester. Additionally, copies of these reports will be available at each campus office and the CISD Business Office beginning February 25, 2025.
